A Classmate's birthday dinner
Interesting day I had today, it was a Classmate's birthday and she decided to have a dinner party in MingMoon (Chinese restaurant). Honestly, my regular self thought it nice to skip the event and apologise later, but I was talked into making an appearance...and with the value added benefit of eating out and company it seemed like potential fun.
Buffet styled dinner; and me engaging my 'Economies of Protein Consumption theory' which states that in order to maximise every penny of your buffet charge, you must focus on the protein menu. Logical reasoning shows that prawns and satayed shrimps will definitely cost more than rice or noodles, lol.
Anyways, today's not on food but about the discussion we had between meals-Very lively, very entertaining and thought provoking. As a person, I'd rather be in my corner enjoying some silence and watching news or some documentary but it seems I'm good with groups of people. I don't consider myself a funny person, but I certainly come across as one. I heard somewhere that "making someone laugh makes them feel closer/warmer towards you", I may never know if that's true. I'm not sure I would be able to portray what I felt today, but it really did feel good. That's not to say it changes how I see humans, and their need for self-presrvation, which seems to be a superior instinct to being good or doing whats right to fellow humans. #Highnote a wager was raised against me and my drive towards having a toned body in time for summer. £1000 was staked that I wouldn't succeed, £1000!! I think I just might take them up on that, hard work, but totally worth every penny.
But that's it, I'm good with humans (when they can hear what I'm on about).
Cheers.
