Mega Plaza is like a one-stop shop for some of my favourite things to munch on in Lagos (every time I go there, I hit 3 stores minimum). The 3rd Floor holds a very dear place to my heart. I've been to Craft Gourmet maybe 7+ times now; from boredom, to dates, to chilling with friends, birthday dinner, and even when I'm in a bad mood. My friends say the place will grow on my head eventually, I'm have no defence to those claims.

Food

First time I was there I had the Pulled Lamb Burger, I actually don't like pulled lamb (Borough Market woes) but I picked this based on my budget. Subsequent visits have seen me order the Chicken Penne Pasta, Shrimp Pasta, and my personal favourite Peppercorn Steak with Chips. 

The Peppercorn Steak I've had maybe 3 times, every time it surprises me. Succulent pieces of meat that literally dissolve in your mouth like butter, and that sauce I want to take home so bad. They also have wide selection of fresh juices, I always indulge. There is a N15,000 leg of Lamb I've been saving up for, if you're interested in splitting the tab hit me up. Make sure you try the Cheesecake, it is rich and divine (can I describe it like that?)

Ambience 

Craft Gourmet possibly has the best interior decor I've seen in Lagos; the mixture of Carrara marble, wood and the paint scheme is just all so delicious. The staff are ever ready to help, and also very professionally I must add. It has got decent views to the rear, none at the front. The lighting is top class as well in the daytime, even more romantic at night (best place to propose, I would). The menu is like a little pamphlet, so its not much trouble to go through

Cost

For the offering, the prices are quite decent with meals starting at N6000 or thereabout. In terms of value for Kobo spent, Craft Gourmet is high up as the meals are mad (extremely good) memorable. It should typically cost you between N16,000 and N18,000 for 2 people dining.

Experience

Overall, it is always a pleasure anytime I come here. Everyone is so professional and friendly, met the owners a few times and have seen them discussing the menu with guests. Brought friends and family here and never a bad review.
